What Is e-Invoice? Difference from e-Archive Invoice
e-Invoice is an electronic invoice document created, transmitted, stored and presented in accordance with GİB standards. Created in UBL-TR format, e-invoices are sent and received digitally between taxpayers registered with GİB's central system.
e-Invoice vs. e-Archive Invoice
| Feature | e-Invoice | e-Archive Invoice |
|---|---|---|
| Recipient | e-Invoice registered taxpayer | Non-registered taxpayer or consumer |
| Transmission | Via GİB | Directly to recipient |
| Response | Accept/Reject required | No response mechanism |
e-Invoice and e-Ledger Relationship
Every taxpayer who switches to e-Invoice must also adopt e-Ledger. Sales invoices created via e-Invoice become journal entries, which are then converted to XBRL-GL format in the e-ledger files.
e-Defter PRO Integration
e-Defter PRO ensures seamless transfer of your e-invoice accounting records into the e-ledger process, automatically populating journal entries for GİB submission.
